- This report compares and contrasts the views of brokers and benefits decision-makers on a variety of topics in order to gain a deeper understanding of the benefits marketplace. Based on the results of an online information exchange conducted among more than 350 brokers and more than 150 HR professionals, the study was conducted in November and December 2012. Topics include: employee benefits billing, including frequency and methods of payment, and evidence of insurability for group life.

- This Briefing includes insights and opinions of brokers and employers on ancillary group insurance products (such as Supplemental/Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment), carriers providing them, and the bundling of these products. Brokers only also shared information on non-traditional distribution channels. Based on the results of an online survey conducted among more than 200 brokers and more than 150 benefits decision-makers, the study was conducted in September 2012.

- This Briefing is based on an information exchange conducted among more than 225 brokers and close to 200 employers in March, 2012. Both groups share their views on group insurance products currently on the market, and the perceived value of optional features that could be added to them. This report also highlights research participants' opinions about supplemental health benefits and providers, as well as employers' perceptions and experiences regarding recordkeeping services for group life insurance.
